Modern Roofing was born out of a simple, urgent need we saw in the community: homeowners aren’t getting the care, transparency, and results they deserved when dealing with storm-damaged roofs.
We watched countless families get stuck in a web of insurance red tape, confused about the process, and left feeling frustrated by companies that cared more about quotas than quality.
We knew we could do better—much better.
Why we started Modern Roofing
After years in the roofing and insurance restoration industry, we’d seen it all.
Too many roofing companies treated customers like numbers on a spreadsheet, sending out undertrained “stormchasers” whose only goal was to close as many deals as possible.
We founded Modern Roofing to be the solution to these problems. We’re here to change the way roofing gets done by making insurance claims stress-free and the work high-quality, always with our customers’ best interests in mind.

We are a roofing company which specializes in persuading insurance companies to pay for your roof.
Here is how we do it:
Step 1: We inspect your roof for damage from hail, wind, or both.
What we look for: hail damage to your gutters, window screens, siding, aluminum vents, and shingles.
- We only look for damage which is severe enough for an insurance company to agree that it is damaged.
Who you will work with: Our storm damage consultants only run claims after a grueling 6-month training process, during which they learn:
- How insurance companies work
- The difference between normal wear-and-tear damage and qualifying storm damage
- Establish good working relationships with local insurance adjusters and inspectors.
Step 2: We give you the information you need to file a claim.
What we give you: photos, information related to the storm that caused the damage, and details about the roof type and quality which the insurance company needs.
Who you will work with: Our storm damage consultants have great working relationships with the local insurance adjusters and inspectors.
We see the same people every week, and have built a reputation with local insurance companies as honest, easy to work with, and helpful to everyone involved.
Step 3: We handle the insurance company for 4-6 weeks for you.
What we do: we meet with your insurance company inspector at your home, show them the damage we found, and consult on the proper methods of repair.
Who you will work with: Our storm damage consultants and insurance claim managers will meet with your insurance company, and provide necessary information to the insurance company as needed.
This can be a long process, and we handle the back and forth for you!
Step 4: We get your roof approved for a full roof replacement
What we do: we get your roof approved for a full replacement. Then, you have a project design meeting where you choose your new roof!
Who you will meet with: our project design consultant shows you all the different color and shingle options, and helps you choose what is right for you!
